“Matilda Rodanuma, a Singular Athlete” <\/b>is my animation feature \ufb01lm which I am the original idea creative of, co-scriptwriter, and director. This \ufb01lm is supported by Motion Pictures Entertainment, and Mondo TV Studios. It has received the Screenplay Development Award for Animated Feature Film from the Colombian Ministry of Culture <\/i><\/b>and the MIA Anima 2023 Mentorship Award<\/i><\/b>. At the same time, I am working as a creative director of “Substellar” a documentary short \ufb01lm for the Canary Islands Astrophysical Institute. During this time, I\u00b4ve played drums, practiced pole dance, and done sports.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The \ufb01rst animation that I directed was: “Mocland a Super Space Adventure<\/b>\u201d, a 3D Animation feature \ufb01lm. After that, I directed the 3D animation series “Young Miscel\u00e1nea<\/b>, and “Evita Percances<\/b>“, in which I worked on the characters and the universe’s creative concept, as well as in the direction of the show. It has been a successful animation series, sold to more than twelve countries. I’ve also created the character concepts for mobile games: “Do\u00f1a Prudencia<\/b>” and “Fortunata y Gast\u00f3n<\/b>” for PIZZEL 3D Studios in Seville. At B-WATER Studio of Tenerife Island, I directed the 3D animation short \ufb01lm “Fina\u00a0<\/b><\/b>y los Yomis<\/b>” for Europa Park in German. During this time, I\u00b4ve learned to play the \ufb02amenco box drum and the \ufb02amenco dance.<\/p>\n

As a Producer<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n To Granada KANDOR GRAPHICS Animation Studio and ANTONIO BANDERAS, I started to produce an animation feature \ufb01lm, “Justin and the Knights of the Valour<\/b>\u201d, as a production coordinator, after a year, I became a production supervisor. I also have worked for BLOW studio in Seville, for “Camp Baker<\/b>” advertising as a production supervisor, and in Tenerife for to”Gris\u0165<\/b>” series as a production coordinator at MONDO-TV Studios, and as a creative producer for the animation feature \ufb01lm “Furry Tails<\/b>” in TOMAVISI\u00d3N Studios. During this era, I tried sur\ufb01ng and kitesur\ufb01ng, which was exciting! It’s like dancing among the waves.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Flashback to my beginnings:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I was born in Seville, in the heart of an Andalusian \ufb02amenco-cultured family. One of the \ufb01rst memories I have is drawing “Don Quixote” and “Sancho Panza” whose design was on a metal tray that my mother had in the kitchen. I used to draw a lot.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I graduated in Audiovisual Communication <\/b>from the University of Seville and ful\ufb01lled my dream of being selected by the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de Los Ba\u00f1os in Havana. There, I received a Master’s Degree in Creative Documentary Directing.<\/b> At that time he rode his bicycle everywhere and played percussion.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I started professionally in the media as a photographer and editor of \u201cViapolis\u201d, an online cultural agenda of\u00a0 DIARIO\u00a0 DE\u00a0 SEVILLA newspaper, and later in the multimedia department of LZ PRODUCTIONS as a content manager. These \ufb01rst jobs made me feel part of the professional media. I received international awards for the direction of my documentaries, such as the FIPRESCI Award <\/i><\/b>for the best documentary work<\/b>, and the UNEAC Award for the best documentary direction <\/i><\/b>with: “Fidel the Man with the little spoon” <\/b>and “Poison”<\/b>, “Earth Goddess<\/b>“, “Carmen stayed in Havana<\/b>” which made me trust the storyteller that I am. At this stage, I played the congas and danced salsa intensely in Havana.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n I ran my own company TAILORED-MADE FILMS with which I work for different clients. With my company, I directed the documentary short \ufb01lm: “Mariem Hassan, The Voice of the Dessert<\/b>“, part of the feature \ufb01lm “Tebraa: portraits of Saharawi Women<\/b>“, winner of the Rosa del Desierto Award<\/i><\/b>. I also produced and edited the short \ufb01lm “Rebusque<\/b>” a Film Corner Award by the Cannes Film Festival <\/i><\/b>for its international premiere<\/i>, and I was the editor of the “Kontinuasom<\/b>” documentary for UTOPI SOCIAL FILMS.
